You (Circle of Care) were the first comfort point. The nurse on 7-west first explained everything, all the treatment and medicines, but then she walked in with a Bag of Love and said it was from Circle of Care. I looked in the bag and noticed that there were life sized bottles of supplies, and great ones! I was going to be in the hospital for awhile and the little supplies you get from them just don’t do the job. I especially liked the antiseptic lotion, it was wonderful. The phone card I used immediately. It was essential, because I was calling everyone and the cell phone battery constantly gave out. And the purple pages! They were so great to have, all the information I needed, from people who had been through this, in this purple book. I think the Bags of Love make such a difference. Getting it was a huge bright spot in a difficult couple of weeks.

My husband and I received one of your bags this past August when our middle child Nolan was diagnosed with ALL at Yale New Haven Hospital. Thank you, it was like a piece of home, you knew exactly what we needed even when we didn't. I am happy to say he is now in remission and we have hit our maintenance phase. I am now ready to help in any way I can with donations and I would also like to be able to help other families get thru this ordeal as best I can.

Thank you again, I am writing like crazy in the journal you provided, I'm going to need a new one soon!!

To the volunteers of Circle of Care,

It was very nice talking to you this morning. My husband and I are very grateful for all the attention and kindness from your volunteers during this challenging times. There has been many cookies eaten and conversations that won't be forgotten and words of hope that are just priceless. Your volunteers really make a difference during those long Guilford office visits! and Hospital stays. Victoria loves doing arts and craft with them.

Thank you for our daughter's wonderful room makeover! It is one of the very few highlights of being diagnosed with cancer. It is something a child can look forward to and feel special. In the beginning of treatment nightmares occurred for months in her own bed. Now she dreams beautiful, happy dreams and wakes up to a beautiful room every day.

Dear Circle of Care,

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your generosity and kindness. My four year old daughter, Aeverie, was diagnosed with A.L.L. on May 3rd, and we were admitted that day to CCMC. We were overwhelmed with emotion and information that very day and it was a blessing to receive your gift bag when we finally settled into our hospital room. She tore into that bag like it was Christmas morning! It was sc nice to see her enjoy that moment after she had been through so much that day. I myself appreciated the toiletries and personal items, as we didn't have much time to prepare an overnight bag! .

She seems to be handling the treatment very well at this point and we know that She will be healed of this disease as a result of prayers, the wonderful Doctors at CCMC and the wonderful people and organizations like yours who so selflessly give to others in need. I really cannot thank you enough for everything and if there is anything I can do to contribute myself, please do not hesitate to contact me.

All the Best,
