Our Programs

Adolescent/Young Adult Program

For childhood cancer patients ages 15-26

We know that adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer patients are a unique group. Often treated in pediatric hospitals, they're too mature for building blocks and finger painting, yet too youthful for the alternative of adult clinics. It's difficult enough being a healthy teen today-- let alone being one facing a childhood cancer diagnosis. This is why we have created a program to provide this group with free unique social and educational opportunities!

Patients ages 15-26 are encouraged to join us for our quarterly adventures and opportunities that allow them to connect with each other and have fun!

If you are a current cancer patient or were treated between the ages of 15-26 and would like to join our AYA Planning Committee to help brainstorm and plan events for active patients, please email Tammi at tammi.small@thecircleofcare.org
